Eight 40x46 mm rounds carry a screening, illuminating or training payload. Three are smoke: the white M99 emitting for 30 s, the CS M99 emitting for 20 s and the three-part CS M11 used from 50 to 150 m. The M04 illuminating round deploys a parachute star burning 20 s at 80000 cd. Four are training rounds, the practice M99, the smoke, flash and marker TPSFM M04, the marking TP M07 and the TP-T M18 with a 4 s tracer. Every record quotes round mass, grenade mass and length.

40x46 mm parachute illuminating round burning 20 s at 80000 cd, deploying at 182 +/- 30 m when fired at 85 degrees.

40x46 mm practice round replicating the mass and ballistics of the HE M99 round out to 400 m.

A training-marking round whose orange marking powder breaks on hitting the target or the ground to show the hit location, used for training and determining firing procedures with 40x46 mm grenade launchers.

A training-practice round with tracer and orange marking powder that breaks on hitting the target or the ground to mark the hit location, used for training and determining firing procedures with 40x46 mm grenade launchers.

40x46 mm target practice smoke, flash and marker round replicating service ballistics to 400 m.

40x46 mm CS irritant smoke round separating into three smoke elements, emitting for 20 s at ranges of 50 to 150 m.

40x46 mm white smoke screening round emitting for 30 s at ranges from 50 m to 400 m.
Screening entries are written as delay time then emission time: 2 to 4 s before 30 s of white smoke on the M99, 2 to 4 s before 20 s on the CS M99, and 1 to 1.5 s before 20 s on the M11. Training entries are written as ballistic match instead, a muzzle velocity of 78 m/s and a 400 m maximum range on all four, with precision at 100 m of Vp 0.25 m and Vv 0.35 m or less on three of them, the TP-T M18 omitting it.
Five designations run through the group: M99 for the white smoke, CS smoke and practice rounds, M11 for the three-part CS round, M04 for both the illuminating round and the TPSFM, then M07 and M18 for the two marking rounds. Round mass runs from 200 g on the M11 to 250 g on the illuminating M04, and length from 103 mm to 134 mm.
The practice M99 repeats the mass and ballistics of the service round. The TPSFM M04 adds white smoke and a bursting sound of 80 dB on impact. The TP M07 breaks to release orange marking powder, and the TP-T M18 adds a tracer burning 4 s to that marking function.
The three smoke rounds do. The white M99 and the CS M99 are quoted from 50 m to 400 m, and the three-part CS M11 from 50 m to 150 m. The four training rounds and the illuminating M04 are recorded differently, with a maximum range of 400 m or a deployment height.
