Fragmentation, incendiary and anti-armour / anti-armor hand grenades

The M-75 and M-84 are fragmentation hand grenades built on a plastic body loaded with steel balls and closed by a mechanical delay fuze. The BRK is a shaped-charge grenade quoted against armour / armor, the BRZ carries a thermite mixture in a steel body, and the TG-1 carries a thermobaric mixture in an aluminium body. Every record states a designation, the principal dimensions and the mass of the filling, and for four of the five the delay time of the fuze. Packing is quoted per model wherever the source data sheet records it.

How a hand grenade entry is written in a tender annex

A tender annex identifies each grenade by designation, then by body material and filling. The M-75 and M-84 quote a plastic body with steel balls of 2.5 to 2.9 mm and of 2 to 2.3 mm; the BRZ quotes a steel body holding 530 g of thermite mixture; the TG-1 quotes a cylindrical aluminium body holding 0.3 kg of thermobaric mixture. Mass, overall dimensions and fuze delay complete the entry.

M-75, M-84, BRK, BRZ and TG-1 side by side

Five designations appear in this group. The M-75 is listed at 355 g with a 36 g plastic explosive charge, the M-84 at 480 g with 95 g, the BRK at 1 kg with 0.34 kg of explosive and 280 mm of steel plate penetration, the BRZ at 670 g burning 25 s at 2475 K, and the TG-1 with a cloud radius of not less than 1.2 m. Dimensions and packing vary accordingly.
