Sentinel's mortar range covers the three weight classes an infantry force fields: light 60 mm tubes crewed by two to four, 81 mm and 82 mm infantry mortars served by a crew of four, and 120 mm towed mortars for long-range fire support. Most fire at high angles between 45° and 85° elevation, while the commando M06C elevates from -5°. The light class holds three 60 mm mortars for infantry fire support, crewed by two to four. The M06C commando mortar weighs 7.6 kg in the combat position, uses a mechanical sight, elevates from -5° to +85° and fires HE M73 to 1600 m with a crew of two. The M57 is the conventional 60 mm infantry mortar at 19.7 kg, with the NSB-3 sight and 2537 m with shell M73. The long range M06 reaches 5200 m from a 23.5 kg weapon with the NSB-4B sight and accepts all standard 60 mm ammunition designed for 650 bar. All three fire at 20-25 rounds per minute.

The medium class covers 81 mm and 82 mm mortars for fire support within infantry units, each served by four operators and firing 20 to 25 rounds per minute between 45° and 85° elevation. Two models take 81 mm ammunition: the M69 B-D1 with a 1450 mm barrel, 49 kg in action and 6500 m with the HE shell 81 mm Mk11/Mk11P1, and the lighter M69 BK at 45 kg with a 1324 mm barrel, reaching 6250 m with shell HE M91. The 82 mm M69A serves forces holding Eastern-standard stocks, at the same 45 kg and 6250 m with shell HE M91. All three carry the NSB-3 sight and traverse 360° by shifting the bipod.

The heavy class is the 120 mm towed mortar. The M74 is the lightest at 120 kg in action and 219 kg travelling, firing 12 shells per minute to 6440 m with the 120 mm M62P8 bomb through the NSB-4 sight. The wheeled 120 mm towed mortar weighs about 190 kg in the firing position, reaches 7200 m with the new HE shell, peaks at 15 shells per minute and converts to travelling order in 30 seconds. The long-range M95 adds a welded steel base plate, lockable barrel and NSB-5A sight, for a 9500 m system range with the HE M95 (0+10) bomb reaching 9200 m.
