Two roles share this group. The six blank cartridges, indexed A-527, A-393, A-392, A-420 and A-445 for the M82, A-394 for the M200 and the long M200A1, and A-534, carry no bullet and quote a cartridge mass in place of a bullet mass. The three subsonic loadings, M78, A-568 and A-627, carry a heavy bullet held below the speed of sound, between 290 and 320 m/s. Every entry states a cartridge mass, a primer and propellant type, an operating temperature interval and a packing configuration.

Neither role is described by a bullet mass alone. A blank is fixed by cartridge mass, primer and propellant type, the reference standard where one applies, the temperature interval, quoted as minus 20 to plus 52 degrees C for every blank here, and the packing unit. A subsonic entry adds a bullet mass in grams and grains and an average velocity measured at the muzzle or at a stated distance.
The blanks divide between service designations, M82 and the M200 with its longer M200A1 variant, and A-series indices A-527, A-393, A-392 and A-534. The subsonic entries follow the same split, M78 alongside A-568 and A-627. What varies is the priming system, Berdan or boxer on several items, the standard quoted, and whether the rounds are packed loose, linked on M13 links, or linked in an M2A1 box.
The 7.62 x 39 mm M78 is quoted at 290 m/s at 25 m with an 11.8 g / 182 gr bullet, the 9 x 19 mm A-627 at 290 m/s at 16 m with a 9.5 g / 147 gr bullet, and the 7.62 x 51 mm A-568 at 320 m/s at the muzzle with a 12.96 g / 200 gr bullet.
Two entries quote a linked packing. The 12.7 x 99 mm A-534 is packed 100 rounds linked in an M2A1 box at 6.1 kg. The 7.62 x 51 mm M82 is offered as 640 rounds loose in an M2A1 box, 500 rounds on M13 links in the same box, or 1000 rounds in a cardboard case.
