A separately loaded 155 mm round pairing the illuminating projectile M485A2, assembled with an illuminating torch, with propellant charge M3A1 to light the battlefield; its electronic time fuze UTE M10 is timed with a UTIF setter before firing from the 155 mm howitzers M109/M126A1, M109A1/M185 and M198/M199.
